Seek & You WILL Find

I have been so encouraged by multiple executives in my office inquiring about my journey as a theatre artist. I am so amazed that these conversations are taking place in the most unexpected environment and they continue to inspire. It is incredibly uplifting to feel their support and eagerness to learn about the industry and passion flaming the fire.

In the midst of talk and thoughts...I am re-discovering the heart of who I am and what I do, through the continuing realization that Jesus' Divine Glory is home...peace...safety...inpsiration!

One Executive encouraged me to check out Actor Support Organizations here in the city and these emerged. I am unsure of how practically applicable these are to me personally, but I do know that I am so very thankful they exist!

My first Actor Support Group Gathering from Trinity Grace Church will meet tonight and I am coming prepared with Apple Spiced Chai Tea and Lindor Truffles for the sheer brilliance of what God has planned!

These words were sent to me from my dear friend Beth and the timing could not have been more perfect.

It amazes me that I can often run from that which is my greatest need. I am so thankful that Jesus remains.

I have asked for energetic motivation with His guidance. I trust and feel His love.

And what to do now?

His still quiet voice is much to be desired in this moment of a new year. With a restless heart and eager ambition I seek His guidance. And the safest place is in worship and trust. He promises to guide...He promises to protect...and now may obedient discipline mold and refine!

I am thankful today for knowing..right now...in this very moment that we are loved. We are safe. And we are forgiven.

We must Celebrate...

TODAY!

That is the echoing truth of the moment. Often/lately my conversations with other artists are filled with questioning the future amidst a chaotic nervousness.

"What are you doing right now?"
"Are you with an agent yet?"
"I just don't know how I'm gonna do this."
"How do I balance my survival job and my art?"
"How...what...when...but i thought...really!?!...I don't know..."

I have been feeling an overwhelming sense...a reminder if you will...for Praise and thankfulness. I am blessed and yet I still have want for another day other than today. And then when I am standing in front of another human being and I see their smile or tears or laughter...I am reminded how wonderfully fulfilling it is to be present...to listen...to give.

And then the truth of the moment comes up...yet again...and now it's coming from behind that "veil" that seems to be a mystery to us all...
